XV World Economy Meeting

The 15th World Economy Meeting, will be held at the University of Cantabria from the 5th to 7th of June at Santander. In addition to the presentation of papers on different aspects of the world economy, the over-arching theme will be the shifting wealth in the world economy, with a particular reference to real and institutional issues.

Topics and areas:

1. The World Economy Development: long term perspectives
2. FDI and Multinational Enterprises
3. International Finance
4. International Trade
5. Transport and Logistics in the World Economy
6. Integration: The European Union and other areas.
7. International Economic Organisation and Global Governance.
8. Labour relations, Migrations and Education.
9. Entrepreneurship and Innovation.
10. Other topics: Policies beyond the World Crisis.

The abstract, which can be written in English, Spanish or Portuguese, should include the title of the paper; the name of all authors; their institutional affiliations and emails; 2-5 keywords and JEL classification (two digits). The abstract should not exceed 450 words, and be saved using Microsoft Word format (Vista edition or earlier). Please save the abstract on DIN-A4 sized paper and use Arial font (12 points). Please note that the delivery of papers will be done in three official languages: English, Spanish or Portuguese. Abstracts should be sent to the online submission plattform of the meeting (http://hans.matesco.unican.es/xvrem/). The World Economy Meeting, organized annuallyby the World Economy Society, is an international forum where research on the world economy, from diverse economic perspectives, is presented and discussed. It is also an important networking occasion forresearchers, academics, students and other professionals with an interest in global economy analysis.

World Economy Society publishes the scientific journal Revista de Economía Mundial (Journal of World Economy) since 1999, supported by the University of Huelva Publications Service. This year the XXII Meeting of the Economics of Education Association, held in A Coruña, on 4th and 5th July 2013, on behalf of the Organizing Committee invite you to participate and I remind you, that the deadline for submission of papers abstracts ends on 15th February, 2013.

In the website http://2013.economicsofeducation.com we are going to entering the information, to keep up all the aspects related to the conference.

Recall that the abstract must be no longer than 300 words, so that the Scientific Committee may have enough information to decide with rigorous during the selection process. The decision on the acceptance of abstracts will be notified before 1st March, 2013.
